The optional Geartronic 5-speed automatic transmission can be shifted manually as well as automatically, giving you the freedom to enjoy the road as you see fit.
Electronic Brake Distribution, a function which regulates the braking force to the rear wheels depending on the load and the degree of braking. EBD gives the rear wheels optimal braking force in every situation, without any risk of the wheels locking. When the driver brakes hard, the braking force to the rear wheels is reduced as they have a tendency to "lift." In normal braking conditions, however, when the load is on all four wheels, EBD distributes more braking force to the rear wheels.
MacPherson strut has asymmetrically mounted coil springs, hydraulic shocks, 23.5 mm stabilizer bar. The front suspension consists of a MacPherson strut and a lower link arm on each side. The strut angle creates a negative offset, contributing to more stable braking if one wheel has a poor grip. This helps to produce a high level of comfort combined with exceptionally good directional stability during acceleration, at high speed or when braking on uneven surfaces.
The rack-and-pinion steering system is available with progressive power assistance. This results in good road feedback and stability. At the same time, steering is facilitated at low speeds, when parking, for example.
